FDA Spied on Its Own Scientists as Part of a Massive Witch Hunt—Action Alert!
The following below article I found at Alliance for Natural Health web site. Please read it slowly and carefully.
" This rogue agency secretly captured thousands of emails that its disgruntled scientists sent to Congress, labor officials, journalists and even the president. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/15/us/fda-surveillance-of-scientists-spread-to-outside-critics.html. The New York Times is reporting that the US Food and Drug Administration conducted a wide-ranging surveillance operation against a group of its own scientists in an attempt to halt criticism of its medical review process. The agency also had an “enemies list” of sorts that included agency employees, congressional officials, outside medical researchers, and journalists thought to be working together to disseminate negative and “defamatory” information about the FDA.
The FDA used spy software that was installed on the workers` laptops that took screen captures, tracked keystrokes, intercepted personal emails, and even copied documents that were on their personal flash drives. The surveillance, according to the Times, sprang out of a bitter dispute between the scientists and their FDA supervisors over the scientists` claims that faulty review procedures at the agency led to the approval of some medical devices that had exposed patients to dangerous levels of radiation.
FDA`s actions almost certainly violated the law by seizing information that is specifically protected under the law. Attorney-client communications, whistle-blower complaints to Congress, and workplace grievances filed with the government are all protected information. Six scientists are suing the agency over the incident.
Some members of Congress were not pleased by the revelations, particularly since scientists` private correspondence with Senate and House staff members was similarly intercepted.
Congressional review of the FDA is scant, and most representatives and senators really don`t know how out-of-control this agency is, or how it acts as executive agency, legislator, and judge, often running roughshod over the human rights we take for granted in the US.
In May, Sen. Rand Paul introduced an amendment to control the FDA`s police powers. You may recall last year`s raid of a food co-op by the FDA, in which armed teams were deployed with guns drawn, and law enforcement ordered all co-op members out of the store, seizing all the cash in the register, then handcuffing the co-op`s founder and placing him in an unmarked car without reading him his rights. Sen. Paul`s amendment would have prohibited FDA employees (as well as all other Health and Human Services employees) from carrying weapons and making arrests without warrants.
“I don`t think it`s a good idea to be arming bureaucrats to go on the farm, with arms, to stop people from selling milk from a cow. I think we have too many armed federal agencies, and that we need to put an end to this,” said Paul. “Criminal law increasingly seems to be used as a tool of our government bureaucracy to punish and control honest businessmen for simply attempting to make a living.” Unfortunately, the amendment failed by a vote of 78 to 15. We clearly have a lot of work to do to educate Congress about what the FDA is doing.
The idea of a government spying on its own people—on its own employees in order to silence them and end dissent—is a profoundly scary one. The FDA`s budget is about $2.5 billion, though when user fees are added, that increases to $4.5 billion. A quasi-totalitarian agency that large, and one that is controlling so much of our economy, cannot be allowed to act in blatant disregard of the rights of its employees or the laws of the country.
Action Alert! Help us reform the FDA! Go to ReformFDA.org and sign our petition. Make your voice heard in Congress! ..."

Real Causes and Cure of Cardiovascular Diseases.
Here is an article of heart surgeon Dr. Dwight Lindell, MD, who performed over 5000 operations on open hearts during his 25 years carrier. Everyone MUST read it.
We physicians with all our training, knowledge and authority often acquire a rather large ego that tends to make it difficult to admit we are wrong. So, here it is. I freely admit to being wrong. As a heart surgeon with 25 years experience, having performed over 5,000 open-heart surgeries, today is my day to right the wrong with medical and scientific fact.
I trained for many years with other prominent physicians labelled "opinion makers." Bombarded with scientific literature, continually attending education seminars, we opinion makers insisted heart disease resulted from the simple fact of elevated blood cholesterol.
The only accepted therapy was prescribing medications to lower cholesterol and a diet that severely restricted fat intake. The latter of course we insisted would lower cholesterol and heart disease. Deviations from these recommendations were considered heresy and could quite possibly result in malpractice.
It Is Not Working!
These recommendations are no longer scientifically or morally defensible. The discovery a few years ago that inflammation in the artery wall is the real cause of heart disease is slowly leading to a paradigm shift in how heart disease and other chronic ailments will be treated.
The long-established dietary recommendations have created epidemics of obesity and diabetes, the consequences of which dwarf any historical plague in terms of mortality, human suffering and dire economic consequences.
Despite the fact that 25% of the population takes expensive statin medications and despite the fact we have reduced the fat content of our diets, more Americans will die this year of heart disease than ever before.
Statistics from the American Heart Association show that 75 million Americans currently suffer from heart disease, 20 million have diabetes and 57 million have pre-diabetes. These disorders are affecting younger and younger people in greater numbers every year.
Simply stated, without inflammation being present in the body, there is no way that cholesterol would accumulate in the wall of the blood vessel and cause heart disease and strokes. Without inflammation, cholesterol would move freely throughout the body as nature intended. It is inflammation that causes cholesterol to become trapped.
Inflammation is not complicated -- it is quite simply your body's natural defence to a foreign invader such as a bacteria, toxin or virus. The cycle of inflammation is perfect in how it protects your body from these bacterial and viral invaders. However, if we chronically expose the body to injury by toxins or foods the human body was never designed to process,a condition occurs called chronic inflammation. Chronic inflammation is just as harmful as acute inflammation is beneficial.
What thoughtful person would willfully expose himself repeatedly to foods or other substances that are known to cause injury to the body? Well, smokers perhaps, but at least they made that choice willfully.
The rest of us have simply followed the recommended mainstream diet that is low in fat and high in polyunsaturated fats and carbohydrates, not knowing we were causing repeated injury to our blood vessels. This repeated injury creates chronic inflammation leading to heart disease, stroke, diabetes and obesity.
Let me repeat that: The injury and inflammation in our blood vessels is caused by the low fat diet recommended for years by mainstream medicine.
What are the biggest culprits of chronic inflammation? Quite simply, they are the overload of simple, highly processed carbohydrates (sugar, flour and all the products made from them) and the excess consumption of omega-6 vegetable oils like soybean, corn and sunflower that are found in many processed foods.
Take a moment to visualize rubbing a stiff brush repeatedly over soft skin until it becomes quite red and nearly bleeding. you kept this up several times a day, every day for five years. If you could tolerate this painful brushing, you would have a bleeding, swollen infected area that became worse with each repeated injury. This is a good way to visualize the inflammatory process that could be going on in your body right now.
Regardless of where the inflammatory process occurs, externally or internally, it is the same. I have peered inside thousands upon thousands of arteries. A diseased artery looks as if someone took a brush and scrubbed repeatedly against its wall. Several times a day, every day, the foods we eat create small injuries compounding into more injuries, causing the body to respond continuously and appropriately with inflammation.
While we savor the tantalizing taste of a sweet roll, our bodies respond alarmingly as if a foreign invader arrived declaring war. Foods loaded with sugars and simple carbohydrates, or processed with omega-6 oils for long shelf life have been the mainstay of the American diet for six decades. These foods have been slowly poisoning everyone.
How does eating a simple sweet roll create a cascade of inflammation to make you sick?
Imagine spilling syrup on your keyboard and you have a visual of what occurs inside the cell. When we consume simple carbohydrates such as sugar, blood sugar rises rapidly. In response, your pancreas secretes insulin whose primary purpose is to drive sugar into each cell where it is stored for energy. If the cell is full and does not need glucose, it is rejected to avoid extra sugar gumming up the works.
When your full cells reject the extra glucose, blood sugar rises producing more insulin and the glucose converts to stored fat.
What does all this have to do with inflammation? Blood sugar is controlled in a very narrow range. Extra sugar molecules attach to a variety of proteins that in turn injure the blood vessel wall. This repeated injury to the blood vessel wall sets off inflammation. When you spike your blood sugar level several times a day, every day, it is exactly like taking sandpaper to the inside of your delicate blood vessels.
While you may not be able to see it, rest assured it is there. I saw it in over 5,000 surgical patients spanning 25 years who all shared one common denominator -- inflammation in their arteries.
Let's get back to the sweet roll. That innocent looking goody not only contains sugars, it is baked in one of many omega-6 oils such as soybean. Chips and fries are soaked in soybean oil; processed foods are manufactured with omega-6 oils for longer shelf life. While omega-6's are essential -they are part of every cell membrane controlling what goes in and out of the cell -- they must be in the correct balance with omega-3's.
If the balance shifts by consuming excessive omega-6, the cell membrane produces chemicals called cytokines that directly cause inflammation.
Today's mainstream American diet has produced an extreme imbalance of these two fats. The ratio of imbalance ranges from 15:1 to as high as 30:1 in favor of omega-6. That's a tremendous amount of cytokines causing inflammation. In today's food environment, a 3:1 ratio would be optimal and healthy.
To make matters worse, the excess weight you are carrying from eating these foods creates overloaded fat cells that pour out large quantities of pro-inflammatory chemicals that add to the injury caused by having high blood sugar. The process that began with a sweet roll turns into a vicious cycle over time that creates heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and finally, Alzheimer's disease, as the inflammatory process continues unabated.
There is no escaping the fact that the more we consume prepared and processed foods, the more we trip the inflammation switch little by little each day. The human body cannot process, nor was it designed to consume, foods packed with sugars and soaked in omega-6 oils.
There is but one answer to quieting inflammation, and that is returning to foods closer to their natural state. To build muscle, eat more protein. Choose carbohydrates that are very complex such as colorful fruits and vegetables. Cut down on or eliminate inflammation- causing omega-6 fats like corn and soybean oil and the processed foods that are made from them.
One tablespoon of corn oil contains 7,280 mg of omega-6; soybean contains 6,940 mg. Instead, use olive oil or butter from grass-fed beef.
Animal fats contain less than 20% omega-6 and are much less likely to cause inflammation than the supposedly healthy oils labelled polyunsaturated. Forget the "science" that has been drummed into your head for decades. The science that saturated fat alone causes heart disease is non-existent. The science that saturated fat raises blood cholesterol is also very weak. Since we now know that cholesterol is not the cause of heart disease, the concern about saturated fat is even more absurd today.
The cholesterol theory led to the no-fat, low-fat recommendations that in turn created the very foods now causing an epidemic of inflammation. Mainstream medicine made a terrible mistake when it advised people to avoid saturated fat in favor of foods high in omega-6 fats. We now have an epidemic of arterial inflammation leading to heart disease and other silent killers.
What you can do is choose whole foods your grandmother served and not those your mom turned to as grocery store aisles filled with manufactured foods. By eliminating inflammatory foods and adding essential nutrients from fresh unprocessed food, you will reverse years of damage in your arteries and throughout your body from consuming the typical American diet.

CDC warning – “Outbreaks of Carbapenem-Resistant Enterobacteriaceae!”
May 2, 2012, Dr. Arjun Srinivasan, from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), warned about new outbreak during spring meeting of Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) in Florida. The issue is a highly drug-resistant pathogen that causes a growing cases of outbreaks in healthcare facilities, called Carbapenem-Resistant Enterobacteriaceae, also named as CRE.
Enterobacteriaceae is a large group of gram-negative organisms that are common residents of the gastrointestinal tract. These organisms have been readily treatable with antibiotics, but over the last several years we have encountered a growing number of Enterobacteriaceae that are resistant to all of known antibiotics, including carbapenems. Historically, carbapenems had been our last line of defense in treating Enterobacteriaceae. So, the development of resistance to these last-line agents has been a significant problem in healthcare. Reliable studies have shown that the mortality rate from CRE infections can reach as high as 40%. Thus, CRE pose a major therapeutic dilemma in some facilities now http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/762961.
Additionally, CDC has seen that these organisms can spread very quickly in non-emergency healthcare facilities like ambulatory surgical and long-term care centers.
CDC suggests carefully trace each patient when moving from one facility to another, and timely isolation of each CRE case.
AIHD comments:
Keeping in mind 40% of mortality rate, it's unfortunate that allopathic medicine can’t help much their patients yet. However, there are some hopes. These are Oregano and Melaleuca essential oils. These oils successfully suppress other antibiotic resistant bacteria, like Staph, and MRSA. It could be applied topically or internally, but keep in mind - a protocol of their application has not been established yet, and should be adjusted. If your friend or relative succumb to CRE you may want to contact AIHD as soon as possible. Our phone is (908) 938-3145 and email info@amerihuma.com.

Oregano – the pasta and pizza herb – is killing prostate cancer cells
This message I`ve found on the internet:
“Oregano – the herb used in pasta and pizzas – kills prostate cancer cells . The results are so exciting that researchers hope that the 'super herb' will become a standard treatment – and one without side effects.
Carvacrol, a constituent of oregano, is causing apoptosis – or cell death – in prostate cancer cells in laboratory tests being carried out by researchers from Long Island University.
Their results mirror earlier studies that had discovered that pizza seems to reduce cancer risk, but now the new research suggests why it has such a positive effect. Initially, researchers believed that lycopene, which is found in the tomato sauce covering on pizzas, had anti-cancer qualities. The Long Island researchers say that oregano and lycopene could be working synergistically to kill cancer cells. What is clear is no damaging side effects as the current therapies of surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. (Source: The Experimental Biology 2012 conference, April 24, 2012)."

Wow, What`s a relief! I love pizza very much and every my visit to New York City I take it two-three slices at least, which, everybody knows, is better in NYC then in Italy!
However, I have a question to the researches from LI University (I didn’t find the proceeding of this conference yet): How much pizza one should eat, and how much weight he could gain, to defeat a prostate cancer?
I think here we can clearly see a deficiency in MD education in the United States. Essential Oils course is mandatory In France Medical schools, optional in UK, and prohibited in US. Otherwise, LIU searches could open a guide a “Modern Essentials, A contemporary guide”, 3rd edition; page 63, and find in Chemical constituents for Oregano: carvacrol(<75%). On the next page one may find that Oregano oil also inhibits MRSA, kills STAF, E-coli, and other bacteria. Its antifungal and antiviral properties are also well-known.
So, for all men, suffering from prostate cancer, in addition to “Pizza therapy”, I would suggest to use the essential oil therapy. Oregano could be administered topically or internally (in capsules), and could be complemented with Frankincense oil, which also possesses strong anticancer properties. Wild Orange and Grapefruit essential oils could be source of Lycopene. If you need more information about Oregano and other essential oils feel free contact AIHD office at (908) 938-3145, or by mail info@amerihuma.com.

Chronic stress causes heart disease - and now scientists can prove it
Scientists have finally been able to prove what we’ve always known – long-term stress, from worries such as financial, marital and job problems, causes heart problems. Although all of us intuitively know it, scientists have been unable to prove a link between chronic stress and heart disease – until now. Scientists at the University if Western Ontario in Canada have come up with a hair analysis system that can detect stress over a long period, such as six months. Until now, serum, urine and saliva analysis could tell if the person was stressed only at the time the sample was taken, whereas heart problems are associated with chronic stress – when it is sustained over a lengthy time. As hair grows at around one centimetre a month, a hair sample that is six centimetres long gives a picture of stress levels – by measuring the levels of cortisol, the stress hormone – over a six-month period. To test the theory, the researchers took hair samples from 56 heart attack patients and 56 hospital patients without heart problems, and discovered that the heart patients had higher cortisol levels. Parents want HPV vaccine banned after it wrecked health of their daughters
A group of American mothers wants the HPV vaccine Gardasil banned after it ruined the health of their teenage daughters. The "safe" vaccine supposed to protect against cervical cancer has harmed thousands of girls and a small number have died directly after having the shot. The girls have suffered a range of serious side effects, from seizures, strokes, auto-immune disorders, chronic fatigue, hair loss, headaches, heart pain, weak muscles, vision and hearing loss and paralysis. Marian Greene, whose daughter was affected by Gardasil, has set up a website http://www.truthaboutgardasil.org/ where other mothers can document the side effects suffered by their daughters. One of the mothers, who sits on the group's board, ha said her own daughter died after being given the vaccine. Merck, Gardasil"s manufacturer, maintains it is safe and effective. Since the US"s drug regulator, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), approved the vaccine in 2006, around 40 million doses have been administered to teenage girls around the world. Merck now want to vaccinate teenage boys as well while Truth About Gardasil wants it banned. (Source: The Truth About Gardasil; http://www.truthaboutgardasil.org/)
